Fees & Insurance

Typically my rates are: $200-$225 for a 50-minute session for individual therapy. With children, I usually have a 45-minute session and sometimes meet with the parents in the session. You can contact me to discuss the current availability of my sliding scale slots.

My office operates on a fee-for-service basis. Payment in full is due at the time of service. I accept payment in cash, check, or by credit card via Square or through Simple Practice. I also accept Venmo and Zelle.

As for insurance, I currently do not accept insurance plans. However, my services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. I would be happy to provide you a monthly invoice (or Superbill) to submit to your insurance plan.

Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions to your insurance or employee benefit plan,

•           Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

•           What is my deductible and has it been met?

•           How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

•           What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

•           Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Appointment Cancellations

It is important in the therapeutic process to have continuity, but, if you need to cancel an appointment, please contact me at least 24 hours prior to the session or you will be responsible for paying for the missed session. If you or your child is ill, it is important that you stay home, and we can meet virtually through my secure platform. Now, telehealth is always an option for a session.
